Catching up

I know it has been forever since i have updated our blog. So let me catch you up on what has been going on.

We went on vacation to Vail with Dusty's family and that was a whole lot a fun. They go every year but this was my first time. We hung out in the condo a lot and went swimming. Went to town and walked around. Went to the chocolate factory about once a day! Man do i love that placed. They had delicious caramel apples. Once we came home from that trip the warm summer days were about over.
Once school started for everyone, Dusty and I went to football games. We went to every home game and a few away games. Madison ended up being the undefeated state champions! Congrats to them, they were a great team.
We had a great Halloween and 1st year anniversary!! Dusty surprised me with a night in a themed hotel! That was a lot of fun. I had never been in one of those before.
Next came Thanksgiving. This year we were at my parents house. We had fun with the whole family there. My mom made our dinner with a little of my help. We had delicious food. Not too long after that we headed to IF for BLACK FRIDAY!! We went to walmart and staked out what we want. Sales started at 8pm. We had got there at 5 so we had a little while. But we ended up leaving with everything we wanted and probably a little more! Then we headed to dennys for a mignight dinner. After that a few of us head to target to get a few more thing. we were home by 4 and went to bed!!
That next day we went to IF and got our Christmas tree! We don't normally get it so early but they were really cheap at home depot so we gave in. Dusty put our light out on the house that weekend too. Our house is very decorative!!
Now we just wait for Chirstmas. We pretty much have all our Christmas shopping done. They are even all wrapped and ready to go. That is a very nice feeling.
 

Well hopefully i don't wait as long for our next post. Just thought i would do a little catching up!

Update

Not a whole lot has happen. Summer has been super fun. We have had a really hot summer which has been super nice. Dusty recently purchased a Motorcycle. Oh my goodness he is in love with that thing and drives it everywhere. I like it too but i don't drive. i'm just the rider! So since Dusty got his motorcycle, he let me get a pool. so oh man we have all been enjoying that. my family comes over and uses it all the time too. so since we had a pool i had to get a pool for Charlie. so buddy comes over and they love to play in it. ( buddy a little more then Charlie) I planted a garden this year and it is doing well. i did tomatoes and peppers in buckets and they are really doing nice. then i have corn and peas out in the garden. which i think i planted the corn too late. so we will see what we get. I started my job have been here since April and have done absolutely nothing. i play on my computer, watch TV, take naps. A little boring but i get paid pretty good. Dusty is still working for his dad and he enjoys that. we also go boating quite a bit. That has been fun. i got on the tubes once. my family has even come and they got on the tubes as well. Recently me and dusty camped out in the yard and that was fun. charlie loves camping. thinks its so cool to be in a tent! well that's about all that has happened with us. ill try to keep you updated.

Day to Day

Not much has happen lately. Just the normal day to day stuff. We are absolutely in love with our dog charlie and he is so much fun to have. Most saturdays we take him to a puppy play date at the pet store. That has been fun for him to get use to other dogs :)
I start a new job within the next couple weeks. That will be good for us to have another income and for me to get out of the house once in a while! I will be a receptionist at One Source Home Health. i am really excited and it should be a lot of fun.
Then my Sister in law is having a baby within the next week!! i am very excited to be an aunt and have a nephew! so that should be very excited.
Well sorry thats not much but i thought i should let everyone know where still here and doing great! Ill let you know when something exciting happens!

Charlie

So last weekend we got a new best friend and has been changing our lives ever since. His name is Charlie.
yes a little puppy. HE is a ShihChi. Which is a Shih Tzu and Chihuahua mix. Charlie is so tiny and full grown he will only be twele pounds. He is the cutest thing and makes us small every day. We are in the training process which is a little difficult but we are getting there. We took him over to my parents house and my family just fell in love with him. So this last Saturday we went back down to Utah where we got charlie and got his brother for my parents. They names him buddy and the two puppies just love to play together. Charlie is just the cutest little cuddler. So i made him his own blanket and his love it. Also have givin him a bath and he somewhat loved it!

Family

This week has been busy. My mother in law and I went down to Logan to stay with Mel and Kel for a little and help them get stuff done. We left on Wednesday. Once we got there we immediately starting painting. (They are in the middle of finishing their basement. Its getting so close to being finished.) We stayed up until about 2 o'clock painting. Got a lot done which was great.
The next morning we woke up and finished painting. we got done about 4pm. That night was also Mel and Kel's Anniversary of FIVE YEARS! So me and mom decided to do something special for them. We went to that dollar store and got a bunch of cute little things to decorate the kitchen table with. then we got an ice cream cake and sparkling cider. First we took them to Moddox to eat. (it was my first time there before and the food was amazing.) Then we headed for home and surprised them with the cake and cider. I walked out with a towel across my arm as if i were a waitress. then served them. It was a lot of fun. We then watch a movie together called the Notebook. very good movie. makes me cry every time.
The next day mom and me decided to organize and clean up the house. mom did lots of laundry while i set up the new baby crib Mel order! it was a very nice crib and super easy to put together. Mom, me and Mel headed for home that night.
Then came saturday!!! the day i had been waiting and planning for, for about two weeks. Melanies baby shower! it was a lot of fun to plan. we came up with the games to play. we had baby bingo, guessing game, and a memory game! we got a bunch of baby things and put them on a cookie sheet. They then only had a few minutes to look and remember what there was. then try to write them all down. We had all sorts of cute decorations. I made a diaper cake. a cake made entirely of diapers and baby things. That was fun and we used that to be the center piece of the table. It was a very fun filled week and everything went as planned! Thanks to family and friends :)

Fun Weekend

This last weekend was a lot of fun. Mel and Kel came up for the weekend. They came late friday night. So on saturday we all went to Tom's for lunch. One of the family's favorite places to eat. Then after lunch us girls (mom, mel, and I) went shopping. we went shopping for material for the baby nursery. A desparate search for dark browns and camo! 5 stores and 3 towns later we found what we needed. :) it was a fun girls afternoon. On sunday we hung out and at house. Later that night we played just dance. One of my favorite games. Everyone played. Wish there were weekends like this more often! :)

The beginning

Well i am very new at this blogging thing but here it goes. We got married November 5th of 2011. and life had been great ever since. we went on a wonderful cruise for our honeymoon to mexico. We now live in Sunnydell, ID. We had a great thanksgiving in Logan with Dusty's family. Then a great christmas eve and morning with my family then headed over to Dusty's parents later christmas day. Life had been really great and its a lot of fun being married! thank you for everyone who supported us!
